Sabina’s work is soft and contemplative, encouraging a slower pace and a moment of stillness - something many of us are craving in busy, everyday life.
A love of making by hand
Sabina is a natural maker, finding joy in working with her hands in many different forms.
“I love doing anything with my hands! Over the last few years I've picked up knitting, crochet, pottery and my most recent favourite hobby is upcycling clothing into new things.”
That tactile approach to creativity feels perfectly aligned with puzzling - taking time, working piece by piece, and enjoying the process just as much as the finished result.
Finding calm through quiet imagery
Tranquillity has always been a recurring theme in Sabina’s work.
“I’m very inspired by a sense of tranquillity - it has always been a recurring theme in my work whether I'm painting, drawing or designing.”
As a self-described sensitive and anxious person, Sabina has learned to embrace that part of herself, allowing it to shape her art in a meaningful way.
“The more that I embraced this part of myself, I noticed it started showing up a lot more in my artwork as a way to find peace through quiet imagery.”
It’s this honesty and emotional depth that gives her designs such a soothing presence.
Art as a moment of presence
When asked what she hopes people take away from her work, Sabina’s answer is beautifully simple.
“I just hope it helps them be present, even for a moment.”
That feeling of presence is something we believe puzzling does so well -grounding you in the here and now, away from distractions, one piece at a time.
